The Library of the Psychophysical Therapists Guild of Australia is conducted for the financial Members and Associates of the Guild.

The Rules (so far):
1. Loans are free to all financial members
but you are required to cover the cost of return packaging and postage. (The
P.T.G.A. subsidises the cost of mailing the books to you).
2. All books are to be returned by the
borrower via "Registered Post". The additional cost of this service
at the post office is currently $2.50.
3. To borrow a book phone the librarian,
Alessia Kernot, on 02 9940 0727 between 6.00pm and 7.30pm. She will advise you
of its availability and make the necessary arrangements.
4. Books are also available for borrowing
and viewing at P.T.G.A. meetings. Contact the librarian with your request prior
to a meeting.
5. You can borrow up to 2 books at one time
and keep them for 6 weeks, which allows 1 week for mail-out, 4 weeks reading
time and 1 week return postage.
6. A book may be renewed once by calling the
librarian before the due date.
7. If a book is unavailable a reservation
may be made.
8. Return books when they are due someone
else may be waiting for them.
Multiple offences may result in
suspension of borrowing privileges for 6 months of financial membership.
You'll then be on probation for the next
3 books that you borrow and will only be allowed to borrow one book at a time.
9. Late return of books will attract a late
fee of $1.00 per day, per book.
To calculate your late fee start from the
day after the due date to the day you post it.
To pay a late fee, enclose a cheque or
Australia Post money order made payable to: Psychophysical Therapists Guild of
Australia, and include with the return of book/s.
10. Members with unpaid late fees
will have their borrowing privilges withdrawn until fees are paid.
11. Lost or damaged books will be
charged the cost of replacement plus an administration fee.
12. Sand destroys books - don't
take your books to the beach.
13. There is additional good karma
for members who send back more books than they borrow - your donations will
help to make the library of more use to everyone and be gratefully received.
14. If you find a book you think
would be great for the library to purchase, contact the librarian for
discussion,

book is listed on the Academy's student list or has been listed in previous
years.)
